Ok, so I started the blog and fell off the wagon.
I'm back.
What happened? Stomach flu (me), cold (J man), cold (me), ear and throat infection (me)..
Anyways, no excuses :)
We're now preparing to leave on our first family vacation next week, to sunny Florida. Am quite frightened for the plane ride..Two parents + one very active baby + two seats = disaster? Am hoping airline will have extra seats that day. Or my advance apologies to those sitting next to us. Once we get there, I've hopefully done all the preparations to make it a smooth trip. Rental car with carseat booked. Crib and toys rented and will be delivered to hotel. Room with a kitchenette. Have lots of pool floats and toys packed.
So I'm hoping to actually have some down time on vacay with a baby... Told DH that I just wanted an hour or two in the sun, uninterrupted, while the J man napped. Not too much to ask? We will see...Also told him that wild horses couldn't keep me away from the outlet shopping mall. Time to jazz up my wardrobe before I return to the work force and reality. (and can no longer rock my Lululemon uniform every day, so sad :( So there should definitely be some Mommy fun!
